The Transmitters pick up an interesting bat in Perez, who batted .331/.415 with 40 HR and 114 RBI in 505 at bats at the AA level, but failed in his 51 game stint at AAA. If he can finally break through, he could give us an interesting middle part of the order with Okubo, Tada, and hopefully another left handed bat if we can find one. Shimizu is a former #1 prospect in the LRS who has had middling success in his career but has been slowed by injuries. He'll serve as depth at the AAA level.
