Re: Trade between Tempe and Connscticut
Confirmed! I hate to give up both Soto and Esquivel, but Lewis is young and I think he'll be very happy at Constitution Field. The Knights should have a pretty decent young core of pitchers again soon.Knights wrote:To Connecticut:

Please put Lewis in the rotation slot vacated by Soto (#5, I think). Garcia can go to AAA (on rehab assignment if needed).

I demand to see those tickets show up in the trade history.

Connecticut is really going for it. I am unsure if the Nutmeggers will wake up soon enough to get back in the rest but regardless these moves this season (and offseason) puts the team in a great place for seasons to come. It's a great foundation.

Re: Trade between Tempe and Connscticut
I'm reasonably confident with my top 4 starters now, and my offense has been playing well of late. I think we can put up a really good second half if the bullpen holds together. I'm cautiously optimistic!

This trade is official and has been processed. (Garcia didn't seem to be eligible to go on a rehab assignment, so I left him DFA)Nutmeggers wrote:Confirmed!
