Sorry for the late response; I'm just getting back home. I think because of the lateness, we're going to keep tonight's Game 1 blacked out. However, I'm certainly open to doing a broadcast tomorrow night if there's enough interest. So if you would like to watch a broadcast tomorrow, post here before the night is over. I'll make a final determination in the morning.

I'll be able to attend Sunday's, and I'm trying to get there for Tuesday's as well. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make Wednesday's, as originally planned.

Hi John, sorry for not answering your question. I was gone the whole day and didn't get back in until late so didn't get a chance to check out the PEBA boards. It looks like I will be out for dinner tonight also. So a no go for me tonight.

But it looked like an exciting game 1. All I gotta say is Alibi putting a Hall of Fame type of stamp with this playoff run.

With Kevin bowing out and not being sure how solid the other confirmations are, I'm going to cancel tonight's planned broadcast. I'm also planning on canceling the broadcasts in general. They're a neat idea, but I need to be cognizant of the fact that the demand isn't there. Not that I don't think people would like to attend in theory, but with shifting schedules and all that it's just so hard to pin down whether or not you can be there for sure. And on my end, I want to avoid doing all the setup only to end up broadcasting to a mostly empty house.

We'll chalk this up as a worthy experiment that didn't quite work out. That's no problem; I had fun with the broadcasts we had and I don't regret doing them one bit!

Just testing the waters here: Let's say the Planetary Extreme Championship goes to a Game 7. Would that be enough to generate interest for a live broadcast amongst non-participants? I would offer two time slots for a broadcast: Friday night at 8:15 PM ET or Saturday night at 8:15 PM ET.

Now here's the thing: If you're interested, I'd need to know ASAP and I'd need to have at least a moderately good idea that you'll actually show up. It's not a problem at all if the interest isn't there; I figured I'd put this out there and give the opportunity just in case.

It tentatively seems like the interest will be there to make a 7 PM ET broadcast on Saturday night happen. I hope it works out; I think it'd be a lot of fun for everyone to watch. More sign-ups are definitely welcome!

Sorry for not getting back to you yesterday, John. I suddenly got very busy. I really could only do a 9pm or later start, which is too late for the almanac. So I'll just have to bow out for this year. Best of luck to Jon & the Bills.

Rats. I had to guess which side you fell on and guessed wrong when I bumped the time up. Well, at the moment we're looking at Jon of Charleston, Denny, Matt and Cassy. I'd like to secure a couple more commitments before we make this official. If Bill and Dean can make it, that would do the trick. Others would of course be welcome, including LRS owners.
