Here's my Christmas gift to Jared Dobney: new art for his NAFTA franchise. It's also a gift for me of sorts, as I'm thoroughly relieved to have this one behind me. I refuse to believe there's a more difficult team to develop art for in our universe from a thematic standpoint than the "Salton Sea Kilmers". :-P

Kilauea Volcanoes (ARL SS-A)
I cheated a bit with them since there's ready made art courtesy of San Francisco's short-season A affiliate in Salem-Keizer. But hey, makes my life easier so I won't complain!

I know I'm supposed to be working on another project for the commish, but he sent me his great template and I couldn't help myself.

I put this together for the Ketchikan Salmon. Its a start but it could use some fine tuning.

@ David: We'll see what can be done.

@ Duane: See, Ghoulardi wasn't so bad because there's all kind of interesting custom art already made for that show. Now, "The Salton Sea"? What the heck are you going to use for that? And more to the point, who's the idiot who named a baseball franchise after a little-known movie about meth junkies starting Val Kilmer? Oh, right...

@ Chris: No need to change your franchise name. I don't think we can use that art anyway (at least I know I sure wouldn't be able to pull something out of that picture... the logo is too wrinkled and shadowed). I'll look for something thematically similar, though.

@ Tyler: Once again, outstanding work my friend. Let's see how it looks in game...

That logo is super awesome. Can it go on the hat and "Ketchikan" be put on the jersey?

Tyler has the text samples that would be needed. He's busy at the moment; we'll see if something can be done when he has time.

The graphics you guys are coming up with are great.

I've always been interested in knowing how to do these myself. I have no idea where to begin when it comes with creating uniforms, logos, banners, etc. I know there are templates you can use to start with as a base, but which graphics program do you guys use? Is it user friendly? I'd like to take a stab at some as well. :)
