Jerseys & Backgrounds

#136 Post by John »

This image displays each of your in-game GM avatars in their new jersey and matched to the background of their home field. The 24 different backgrounds you see here will be the ones used for all player pictures going forward. If you'd like a change to your picture or background, or you have a suggestion for an additional background, please let me know.

I just noticed the Calzones' logo uses the Godfather font....priceless :o

I forgot to mention earlier I also really like the variety of different backgrounds and poses used for player and personnel portraits. Good job to the commish for going the extra mile--it really enhances the experience! ;-D

Are coaches ever happy? They're too busy obsessing about every little mistake to crack a smile. The Bakersfield and Reno coaches look a little too intense, however... like they're considering decking you for taking their photograph or something.

It kind of looks like the Duluth coach is trying to twist the left corner of his mouth into something resembling a grin. He isn't pulling it off too well, but at least he's trying.

I would like to note that both my graphical representations just look scared of the camera. Change takes time to reach South Carolina, apparently.

In general, it is a stunningly angry group of men. Any ideas on why?

Oh, I don't know... the GMs look to be in relatively fine spirits. Those coaches, however... a bigger bunch of sourpusses you will never see! I guess the ever-present threat of being fired and/or reassigned to the minors has a way of dampening one's spirits.

Fortunately the only pictures that are final are those of the GMs. I'll be generating new pictures for everyone else - coaches included - later this afternoon. Maybe they'll be in a better mood for this round of photos!

I think we should have a vote for various categories ... best looking/meanest/most scared/ best-worst facial hair/shadyest/least-most likely to kill his wife ... so many possibilities

Custom art is served! Enjoy everybody, and thanks to everyone who made this possible.

Next up: minor league logos! We have a thread set up for this purpose already. If you would like to contribute art of your own, or even just suggestions or "inspirational pictures", please do so. We'll be slowly working on these over time.

I loathe the stupid moustache "I" wear as a GM. What an abomination.
