A two-bouncer to John at second starts a 4-6-3 double play, and this game is oh-vah! IL wins it 8-3. Your 2009 PEBA All-Star Player of the Game is Florida slugger Tsumemasa Morimoto. He went a walk and a hit in 3 plate appearances tonight, but that hit was a two-run shot of Er Hang in the 5th inning that broke the game open 7-2. Time of the game was 3 hours, 33 minutes. The IL's string of dominance continues. And thankfully, no one got injured playing. 8)

I'd like to thank you all for attending the PEBA's 2009 All-Star Game! It was great to have you guys following this little blog. A new file will be out around midnight.

Hey, what do you guys think of the new IL/SL logos?

Thanks for the recap John! I'm digging the circular glossy logos. I wouldn't mind seeing something like that for PEBA team logos.

Woohoo congrats to Morimoto. The guy has been in a slump lately but hopefully this is a sign that he woke up. I was about to say nice to see my Florida players hit well now that they are not in the pitcher friendly confines of Florida's home park. But I just checked out Aurora's park and they are not all that friendly either (I figure being in Colorado would make it more offensive friendly). I never managed a team with an offensively friendly park before. I always wanted to have a player just having an absolute monster year in a hitter's park but it seems I like seeing pitching and defense better :)

Check the box score for last night's All-Star Game. Look back at the Planetary Extreme Championship results for 2007 and 2008. The SL needs all the exaggeration it can get! ;)

Thanks John! That was an entertaining read.

I'd like to apologize for Victor's performance  That does pretty much sum up Arlington's season though
