2039 Playoffs

So here we are - the 2039 playoffs!!! Congrats to all the teams who have qualified for this year's race for the Rodriguez Cup!! Some teams that cruised into their playoff spot while some who had to fight to the bitter end!

So, here's the deal - I need wild card teams in the playoffs to adjust their playoff rosters to 26. The game will not advance us into the Wild Card series without this. Hopefully the game has made that adjustment for you on your Playoff Roster - it is highly advised you check this for YOUR needs.

We will have our first playoff sim Monday, February 5, and then, once the Wild card teams have exported - and posted here as being ready, we will go ahead and sim the next set of games. We will 'speed sim' through the post-season - I will go as fast as the playoff GMs export - but I will not sim more than one cycle per day. We will follow the plan listed below. We will not go more than two full days without a sim, so 5pm PT on the third day will be sim deadline. I will post appropriately after each sim. I may sim in the mornings on some days, if everyone is ready to roll (typically no sooner than 1pm ET/10am PT)(think Super Bowl Sunday) - but please don't feel pressured to meet that deadline - i will run the sim when folks are ready, and the afternoon sim time is perfectly fine on my end.

All GMs should keep tabs of their team and export - even if exporting is not mandatory at this point - keeping their DFA and DL as clean as possible. You might want to also consider your future financial situation, regarding potential free agents, extensions, coaching staffs, etc - not to mention how you might spend your CP and who might benefit from winter ball. Don't forget your writing possibilities! This can be a busy time of year! Don't forget that at this moment, minor league playoffs are still underway. ALWAYS make sure you are at the current in-game date before you make changes and export. This time of year, that is a common occurrence.

We will have Playoff (Wild Card) Sim #1 on Monday, 2/5, and I only need those who have games to export for WC sim 2 and 3 (if needed) and the subsequent sims as teams post their readiness.

We've reactivated DH Pedro Rodriguez for the series with Scottish. He's still recoverying, but could be ready to play by game 2. He's just a DH and there's no rehab option at this point. It means Declan Wanlace will be in a pinch hitting role after game 1 and Azhar Gandapur will not make his PEBA debut in the postseason as we were thinking might end up happening.
