The time has come

#1 Post by Reg »

Hey everyone,

Feels a bit weird posting this, but I wanted to let you guys know that I'm stepping down as the GM of the Trendsetters.

Over the last little while, life and other projects have taken a bigger and bigger slice of time, and even though it was a very tough decision, it feels like the right time to step aside for the time being and let someone fresh and new take over the Trendies - someone who can give the team the full attention they deserve.

I'm glad I stumbled upon PEBA back in 2015 (thanks, Cole!), and I have to say, the last 8 years have been an absolute blast - it's the only online league I've ever really been in, and it wildly surpassed whatever expectations I might have had going in. The incredible lore, the competitive environment and the friendly atmosphere is what makes the PEBAverse the best baseball universe out there. Plus, you guys gave me a chance to do two things I never thought I'd do: flex my baseball writing muscles, and participate in a baseball podcast! Overall just awesome.

I'm going to miss this place, and miss all you guys, but it's great to see the league is as vibrant and healthy as ever, and I have no doubt this will continue.
Best of luck to everyone. I'll still be around and lurking, and keeping an eye on how things go in 2038!

Hopefully the Trendies' playoff drought can finally come to an end soon ;)

Reg,

We never met, but thank you for all the work you did in the league. Your efforts are one of the reasons the PEBA was such an attractive option.

I’m proud to take over the Trendsetters with their long storied history.

Chuck

P.S. I’m firing the manager.
