New GM in Madison

#1 Post by TimB »

Hello all, I'm Tim and taking over the Madison Malts. Have been playing OOTP casually for a few years and only recently tried online leagues, none of which are as immersive as PEBA :-B .

Michael mentioned the troubles of this franchise, and hopefully I can deliver here what Theo Epstein delivered for two cursed clubs. Haven't had a chance to load the game yet nor familiarized myself with the squad and the financials, but I can already tell it is a special club in a remarkable league.

Look forward to battling with all the GMs over many seasons to come!!

Welcome Tim, and I wish you the best of luck! Well, maybe not the best of luck, as Madison has been a thorn in Aurora's side the past few seasons.

Hello Tim! We're excited to have a new face in PEBA.

Madison has a strong core full of excellent, young players you can build around like top prospect Denis Johnson, Pablo Garza, Javier "Pokey" Aguilar, and Atasuke Inoue. I think you guys are a season or two out from surprising a lot of folks and competing for the Great Lakes pennant. #AnyoneButTheGnats :)

Welcome Tim!

Feel free to reach out and bug me if you have any questions on about the team, or PEBA.

I ran Madison from 2029-2033 before heading back to my original team of New Jersey once the league decided to bring it back from the grave.

And more recently assisted with maintenance and the most recent draft.

So I am very familiar on what I had planned for the organization, but it’s all you now! Going to be cheering from the sidelines across the league lines for your success! You should be in a terrific financial and prospect position to find the right opportunity to take over the Great Lakes (in my humble opinion  )
