New Madison GM

#1 Post by JarethK »

Hello, my name is Jareth and I'll be taking over the Madison Malts!

I've been playing ootp since 15 but only recently started playing in an online league, making the game even more enjoyable. I remember seeing this league years ago and being amazed by the work that has been put into it so it's really exciting to be a part of this. Probably my favorite part of being in online leagues is seeing the different approaches people take to building their teams. Also, I can find myself lost at times in the statistics of baseball especially crazy splits those might be the best.

I'm really just excited to be part of this league and hopefully, it'll give me a nice outlet where I can see some winning baseball while the Rangers do their rebuild.

Welcome Jareth to PEBA! You will not be disappointed with the league as a large portion of us have been around for 10+ years at this point enjoying the league.

You have the tall task of trying to be the GM to finally get Madison out of mediocrity and into the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.

As Mike said, they are on the cusp and should be a few moves and a steady hand away from achieving that! I tried to leave the team in the best condition possible before I got the opportunity to go back home to my original franchise, but please do not hesitate to reach out to me here in a PM or on Slack with any questions you may have about Madison, the direction I was trying to take, the franchises history or anything else as I will be happy to help.

Best of luck and again, welcome to PEBA!

I've recently taken the reins of the Kentucky Thoroughbreds so, from one new guy to another, welcome to the league. It looks like we both have the chance to be competitive fairly quickly. May the OOTP Gods look upon us favorably. Best of luck!
