Like Gin & Tonic, you can't have one without another. Same can be said to the side outfielders duo of Hartford, Walter Daniel and Walter Winston -- or the Walter twins, as named by the Hartford's dedicated fans before acquiring their official nickname of 'Gin' and 'Tonic'
The Walter twins might not be household names known to the casual fans everywhere, but they are certainly among the best Hartford homegrown players in the current squad. Walter 'Gin' Daniel has the highest batter WAR after MVP candidate Luis Cedeno. His all-around versatility is key to Hartford's success in recent years, especially this season.
Walter 'Tonic' Winston has some trouble with injury this season yet still able to rack up a solid 1.8 WAR in 68 game appearances. His speed and batting are respected by any opponent.
For their loyalty and contribution to the team, Hartford Harpoon will be producing a special duo bubblehead for them (and misc. products) in the upcoming season. For now, enjoy the discount of their regular bobblehead and cheer for them in the upcoming playoff series!
