Hello PEBA GMs and fans! It’s somehow been over 3 months since we last recorded and we felt so bad about that that our latest episode is giving you (basically) one hour of podcast for each PEBACast-less month.
In this episode we cover a lot of topics but our primary subjects are the 2030 draft and the upcoming all-star game. Interspersed throughout are goofs and jokes and Ken springing new, unexpected topics at RJ and Reg as he watches them gallantly try to keep the episode on the straight and narrow.
If you are in PEBA already, PLEASE MAKE SURE TO VOTE FOR THE ALL STAR TEAMS. Also: please consider giving Ken a great deal on a bullpen arm.
If you are not in PEBA and thought that this was for some reason interesting or cool, may I suggest heading on over to pebabaseball.com and filling out an application? We’re currently full, but the best way to get into the league is to get involved and stay in touch.
Thanks guys!

Re: PEBACast Episode 16: A 3 Hour Tour of 2030
Finally got a chance to listen to this in its entirety. Took a couple of sessions!
Love the look at the draft... particularly the hidden gems. I think one of the fun things about everyone having different scouts is that we all rate guys differently, so there's a good chance people will take players you don't like and leave a few that you do. Of course, that player you're watching fall down the draft board? Yeah, the team in front of you will probably pick him.
On All-Star voting, I always vote as late as possible. I feel like the early votes are too subject to small sample sizes. I'd love to see a module with vote tallies throughout the year, changing as we approach the game date.
I was surprised you didn't touch on Neo-Tokyo's struggles this season. I realize it's less fun to talk about teams struggling than teams surprising in a positive way, but they're really not performing as I expected. They won 95+ games each of the past two seasons.
