I hate to be THAT guy but:

Free agents signed to off-season major league contracts may not be traded until May 1st of the upcoming season.

This is correct, May 16, to be precise, thus this being re-titled 'Pending', assuming Bob confirms...

Bumping for Mike to process this simulation on May 16th.

Please place Choe as starting 2B for LHP and RHP. Please also set his position for 2B so that the game understands he is a 2B not 3B.

Move Bugler to U1 on 2B for LHP and RHP.

Please place Choe at 6th in the line up verse RHP.

Please place Choe at 2nd in the line up verse LHP.

Lineup verse RHP should be
1 - Jimenez
2 - Carpenter
3 - Parker
4 - Vega
5 - Blanchard
6 - Choe
7 - Lopez
8 - Brown
9 - Arai

Lineup verse LHP should be

1 - Carpenter
2 - Choe
3 - Parker
4 - Kimball
5 - Brown
6 - Jimenez
7 - Arai
8 - Vega
9- Blanchard

Thank you Mike!

Darn, I was very curious as to who would be trading for Hai-liang Choe with that loaded contract ever he signed with Yuma. Did not take long for a deal to go through, well played.

And Yuma only held his contract for 3 months. A smart move from a front office not known for smarts.

Yuma is going to be able to just about fill out its entire SSA club in one pass on draft day...

I wonder if this is set to be the single biggest draft haul for a single team in PEBA history?

Should be an exciting day in Yuma!

I don't think it will be the biggest draft haul for Yuma, but I don't have the numbers. Back in my first rookie draft, league members generously traded away draft picks to try to help restore the floundering Yuma organization. We had 3 and 4 picks in a row in several rounds after about the third, if my Swiss cheese memory can be relied on. (It can't.)

However, if any of you with middle round picks you're not enthusiastic about would like to help establish a NEW PEBA RECORD for number of drafts in a single season, let me know. I'll trade anyone on my major league, AAA and AA teams for those rookie picks!

Looks like you logged 21 picks in the 2013 draft and 28 in 2028: http://pebabaseball.com/reports/news/ht ... story.html

Your tally for 2029:
+ 15 picks you started with
- 4 you traded away
+ 25 you added (excluding this trade)
+ 2 picks in this trade
------------------------------------------
38 Total picks

That's more than the entire roster capacity in SS-A!

Looks like a Yuma record, at least, to me.

I'd say it was a league record. I'd also not use those HTML reports on drafts as a basis - it never shows the full draft - I'm not sure why... Maybe that's only the guys who made the bog leagues?

Thanks, Kevin, for those remarkable numbers. I guess this is a pretty big draft for Yuma, then. Now if I could only get enough draft picks to replace my entire SS-A and A rosters, then I'd begin to feel optimistic about the future!

Heh, guys, Yuma is still looking for those mid-level draft picks! If there's anybody on my rosters you're interested in, let's talk! Record or no record, I am motivated to move personnel. Draft Day is SOOO much more fun when you're picking 3 or 4 times in every round!
