New/Old Maulers GM

Hi Everyone-
My name is Jeff Dudas. Almost 3 years to the day that I took a break from this wonderful community and from my beloved Manchester Maulers, we both return to the PEBA!
Here is some information about me, to remind the old timers and introduce myself to all of the great new owners:
1) I am an Associate Professor of Political Science and Core Faculty of American Studies at the University of Connecticut.
2) I live, with my spouse and our two (!) teenage sons, in Storrs, Connecticut.
3) I am the author of two solo-authored scholarly books published by Stanford University Press and a dozen or so peer-reviewed articles.
4) I am an avid golfer, currently playing off a (injury-influenced) handicap of 13.
5) I was, earlier in my life, an accomplished guitar player; now that our 13 year-old son is interested in learning to play I will be spending some time with the instrument for the first time in 15 years.
6) Most importantly, I was one of the original members of PEBA when it began under John's tenure in 2007. I owned and operated the Manchester Maulers for 9 real-life years (and 16 league seasons), until 2016. I served for several months in a transitional role after John stepped down as Commissioner, and then transitioned under Matt Higgins's leadership to serving as a member of the new PEBA Board.
I am so excited to be back; thank you to Mike for welcoming me again with open arms. I can't wait to get started with all of you!
