Yuma with that $$$
Sorry, guys, I didn't mean to rob any of you of a player you wanted. I just met their demands, that's all. Been Yuma policy ever since the GM was institutionalized. No point in haggling. Money is the least important commodity on the planet.

By the way, if you still want Choe, I'd be happy to trade him away. Make me an offer I can't refuse!

Man, I worry about this guy, going into Spring training - he looks like he hasn't slept in weeks...

Well I was 97% I was getting Takaki from Warriors when I let Kichida go, glad it is 100% now.

Also happy I got Ron Latour and Luis Puente on minor league deals. Both have a good chance of making team out of spring training. Minus Fred Wilton, my pen is 100% made over since the CS (David Lopez doesn't count he wasn't on active roster).

Stan Joyce may be separated from birth or share the same father...

It IS! Some of the facegen backgrounds, including that one, have been around for years and that one always cracked me up.

Danny Burke's first hit in spring training was a triple. I feel like maybe I'm drinking too much of that Yuma water...

The man could always hit. Though how his legs held up for a triple is a bit miraculous. He'll probably need a couple days on the bench after legging that one out.

He clearly needed to cool off after that 180 ft Sprint so he just hit a home run after that

And just like clock work - Rob Imhoff - so full of potential, can't stay healthy, hurt again. OK, it's just a day with back spasms, but Come On, Man! Toughen up!!

In more spring notes:
-'Tugboat' looking good after his first two starts: 1.12 ERA, 7 K and a walk... Mike Monroe, 4 IP, no runs...
- Jose Torres 5-11, 2-2B, 4 RBI... Roy 'Mr. Rule 5' Duke, 4-9, 2B, 3B... River Pope, 3-10, 2B, 3B...

A hard 2-5 week for Aurora, but they typically start the spring slow... or so I recall...

Looking at the early returns in the IL Trans Atlantic makes one wonder if all the clubs in that division ever needed was a little TLC. Seems like every time an IL TA team gets a human GM who spends some time on the club it takes off. Scottish recently and now looks like San Juan is stirring. Could be a great division race again this year. ;-D

Pleased to get Orlando Reyes into the Codgers fold! He was a disaster for us a few years ago, but with a much smaller contract and limited expectations--only likely to see action when facing lefties--I think he will do much better in 2029.

He'd better!! :shake:

He was pretty young for the Palm Springs lifestyle the first time around!
