League:

Attached you will see my revenue sharing estimates based on the data from last season, if you want to get a head starting on understanding what money you might have available next season. We still need some data on how much money the owners will pull from teams this year. The revenue sharing estimates should not be too far off, but who knows what the game does sometimes.

To understand revenue sharing the basic formula is applied:

((Total League Revenue * .31) / 26) - (Team Revenue *.31) = Revenue Sharing Number.

I will update this form as the data changes.

Thanks for sharing RJ.

Pretty jazzed at the estimate for my team for next season. Could be an interesting free agency.

I like your estimate better than the one I've already been using - you save me $1+M!!

You're welcome guys - you guys both did a very good job at managing your financials.

Pretty much every 31% of each dollar over $177,715,118 gross revenue is taxed and 31% of each dollar under $177,715,118 gross revenue is subsidized.

Interesting numbers .... still all dependent on my greedy owner
Ky has the highest profit but not highest revenue (thanks to tight fisted budget from owner)

Does the team support his horse racing gambling habit?

The original owner (Bill Shatner) was a collector of bourbon ... Hector, Bill's son, is a collector of real-estate in Baton Rouge .... we all know why he keeps the Thoroughbreds instead of selling it to someone who cares about baseball.
