Thank you gentlemen!

My jaw dropped when I was looking at the site and saw the logo for my moderate sized town for the "Crystal Lake Herald".

Welcome, Nick! I remember well inserting that Crystal Lake logo back in the days when I was league commissioner and Dean Giesey (also of Crystal Lake) was GM of the Gnats. Seems not all that long ago, yet it was nearly a decade now. Time flies!

Very nice! I worked in Antioch for a minute and drove through Fox Lake the day the GI Joe case began. Instead of driving back to CL, I stopped by Antioch Golf Club to have a few cold ones and watch the news.

Ah yes, one of my friends went to OPRF and still lives around the area. I may be leaving CL this time next year and venturing down to the south burbs. We shall see.

You were 1.2mi from my house - West side of course across the mile-long channel.

I am happy to see such a strong presence of Illinoisan's here. Probably a few other miserable folks stuck at work when it should be mandatory for all non-bar working officials to be off work by 3 to catch the Cubs game.

I'll be hate watching the Cubs. Does that count? (Cards fan here.)
