This is the first off-season that I have been involved where there was fewer days within simulations in the off-season. In years past, you would get an offer in but then not have 10 days to respond and most of the time lose out in negotiations. I think the few days within simulations, has allowed a lot more bidding to take place.

Agreed, I think this is one improvement the league has made among others.

Someone tell Jose Santos that no one wanted to pay for him last year, and they for sure don't want to pay the $27mil he asking for this year after sitting out a season.

My bad, Michael. The schedule said a sim on the 27th, so I just assumed one had been run. Oops.

My in-game date is Dec 31, 2026.

In-game date, before tonight's sim, was Dec 31, 2026.
After downloading the latest league file, Jan 4, 2027.

But here's what's strange: this sim delivered yet another news announcement that the Rule 5 draft was about to take place. I even got a notice reminding me of the rules for the draft and who needed to be protected. All the coaches I hired sent me confirmations accepting the deals I offered ... AGAIN. I got all that news last sim. So this sim seemed to repeat everything from the last sim and still no news that the Rule 5 draft has taken place. No results announced, no players I lost mentioned, no one added to my rosters, not a word.

I'm living in a parallel universe where nothing is happening ... except someone keeps changing the date on the calendar.

What does is the date of the mail telling you about the draft?

I’ve had issues with not deleting mail and it reappearing as unread in the next sim.

Oh... my in-game mail has been a mess since we migrated to v17 - I'll have a dozen new messages, yet it'll tell me I have 80 messages - I'll 'read all' and then I'll still have unread messages.... I'll delete those, and they'll still be there... new sim, rinse and repeat...

It's really frustrating... I don't know if this is what Bob is experiencing, but I hope that disappears with v18 - although I think it's PEBA specific, as my other League presents me with no problems...

I've had this issue with the in game mail for a long time. I just assumed it was a bug with the game. I figured out a trick to fix it temporarily. I'll post that when I do it next simulation.
