Hi guys,

Given how long it takes my poor little laptop to generate the league file, the HTML reports and the StatsLab files, I will be moving the export deadline ahead by two hours (to 9pm Eastern Time) starting on the Saturday evening sim coming up on May 13th.

I realize this places the export deadline quite early for those on the west coast, but the current deadline means I can only start the process at midnight my time (I am 1 hour ahead of Eastern time), which makes it difficult to manage... particularly during a week night. On the bright side, those on the west coast will get a fresh new league file when they arrive from work on Wednesdays now!

Also remember : tonight's sim deadline won't change. It will remain 11pm Eastern one last time.

If anyone has any questions or issues with this, you can certainly send me a message.

Agreed!!!

As part of the West Coast contingent, I actually prefer the earlier time. If my export isn't in my Tuesday night for the weekday sim, it's likely not going to get in at any point Wednesday. Thanks for letting us know!

No problem, Reg. Time here on the West Coast is highly subjective anyway. Just this morning I turned my clocks back an arbitrary 3 hours and simply fell back asleep. I plan to do something similar with the new export deadline.

My students have all mastered the art of sleeping with their eyes open. Very useful in class. I've asked them to teach me, so I could survive those endless faculty meetings, but they are guarding their secret.

That's fine from the west coast here. Have plenty of time between sims to get a file in.
