What's wrong with having a partner who enjoys indulging and influencing others? Bill is a great owner (when he is not screwing up my draft) ... I hope he doesn't read this.

And no matter what the SL GMs try to sell you on, the truth will always be found in believing that the IL RULES!!!!!

all but one season .... PEBA

Even though we fell short against Duluth in 2026 ... and SS in 2027 and 2029 8-o
IL still RULES!!!!!

Thanks for the tips, all. I do have to say that I'm a little intimidated to see how much there is to learn--especially after having such a hard time simply getting the latest sim. The commish has been great at helping us out. Much appreciated!

I am confused on one thing because I don't know the history....does any other team win the championship besides IL teams?

You'll find getting the latest league files much easier after the first time around. The first time you have to download the files from the website; after that you can do it through the game and it's completely automated. Much easier.

If you're interested, you can view the league's entire history here (I just updated the page after our last sim). PEBA has only had one champion, and that team (New Jersey) hails from the IL. Us SL'ers will have something to say about this whole IL RULES thing before everything is said and done, though...

There has only been one full PEBA season played thus far, which was won by an IL team due to a combination of abject cheating, horrible officiating, and complete utter luck. :-P Take away those three things and the SL wins handily, which is why any impartial observer would conclude that the

Don't forget all the under-the-table graft I received from Matt! Let that be a lesson to you, Denny: it pays to be... generous with the commissioner. ;-7
