The story as of Friday night.

I wish I had something sage to offer. Unfortunately, all I have to offer is sympathy. Prayers and well-wishes to the people of France, and goodhearted people everywhere. No one should have to read about such tragedy, let alone suffer through it.

It's an unlikely wish to come true, but may we see an end to violent radicalism in our lifetimes.

Paris is a wonderful place. It's sad to see this. Paris and Parisians will endure and persevere as they always have. We will stand with them. Vive la France!
