DAMN YANKEES opens in former mental hospital

You heard it here, PEBA pals. The notorious baseball musical, Damn Yankees, is opening this week at Cal State Channel Islands, the newest Cal State campus, housed in the former Camarillo State Mental Hospital. If you wonder what the absentee GM of the Yuma Bulldozers has been up to, here it is:

Thank you all for your support. We've sold out 2 of the first 3 performances, and have reservations for next weekend as well.
I'm pleased to report to you baseballists that for 3 consecutive evenings, the Washington Senators have beaten the New York Yankees on the final game of the 1958 season to take the American League pennant!

Ah, baseball! Ah, history!
