Was it sort of a 2 way gamble with Morris betting he wouldn't turn the option down and Charlie betting that he would?

If so, that is one of the more literal forms of gambling on a player that I have seen.

Nope, I approach Morris about getting Bradley, I wanted him to exercise that option.
