Re: Trade Between Seoul and Hyakujuu
Confirmed. Glad I can use some of my prospects to fill my holes for next year. I believe this is a clear signal to Shin Seiki that I'm coming!Crushers wrote:Slowly trying to bring the Crushers back into the thick of things

Re: Trade Between Seoul and Hyakujuu
This deal is interesting in that the team that seems to be closer to contending, SEO, takes a step back to acquire a premium prospect. It could make sense if SEO thinks Yamashita is ready to contribute now, though I don't think he's quite there yet.
Meanwhile the team that is in full rebuild mode, HYA, deals what could be a cornerstone of their future rotation for a LFer that is ready now, even though they just made a big trade to acquire a top LF prospect who is now knocking on the door in AAA. This doesn't make a lot of sense on its own, but I'm sure there will be more deals coming, probably involving LF Ikarashi (AAA) from HYA.

I know I'm close, but I have some glaring holes. Put it this way, I have some very good players, but then I have some very, very bad players. I also have no depth in my system. Yamashita and Yoshida will both be ready by 2021, the year I'm going for it.

Ah well if 2021 is the year you are shooting for, the deal makes total sense. I had thought it was 2020 you had in your sights.

Yeah, I thought about going for 2020, but I'd have to take a lot of risks and go for free agents.Evas wrote:Ah well if 2021 is the year you are shooting for, the deal makes total sense. I had thought it was 2020 you had in your sights.
