I just added the ability to set the DL length in the league rules setup... that's pretty useful for online leagues and people who play historicals and want correct DL lengths there

Obviously we'd move a tad slower, so some might be opposed to such a change.

7 day sims means what, 3 extra sims over the "season"? An extra week and a half real time? And the opportunity to micro-manage even more? I think we'll live

I actually love shorter-length sims like we did for the playoffs, especially at key times since I like to micromanage. I think most of us agree, the worst time is waiting in the offseason, so anything that stretches out the regular season/playoffs is fine with me.

We're in for 7 day sims ... and even increasing from 2 a week to 3 (Sun-Tues-Thur would be awesome)

I'd love a 3-a-week sim schedule. A majority of owners favored the option when it was presented as a floater, but there was a significant minority against. I would only make that change if an overwhelming majority were on board with it; otherwise it's just not worth rocking the boat. It's probably something that will be presented as a floater again this upcoming off-season.

OK guys, we have discovered an issue that IMO needs fixing very soon, when importing certain OOTP 8 leagues then player L/R split ratings are reset to the same values.

So, along with this isuue, patch 1 will fix the following:
- Crash when clicking on player news stories while playing out a game
- Game stuck when DH is ejected
- Toned down suspensions resulting from brawls
- Fixed position selection menu disappearing at times
- Fixed foreigner rule selection in league setup

Expect the release this weekend

Also, this does not interfere with our original plans for the first patch, which now becomes the second one and will be released early July as planned and includes better sound files, updated rosters and more bugfixes & tweaks.

This is why I've downloaded but not yet installed the game. Just waiting for the first big round of bugs and patches, then I'll give it a whirl
