Started a league, signed with a Rookie league team, went 53-7...never really did a solo minor league in OOTP9 so I don't know if that's abnormal, but my team average was .401, even with the GM moving players in and out at an unrealistic pace. I did get to coach Miggy Tejada for a few games, apparently he forgot his vitamin B shots though.

I am enjoying the speed of OOTP X, but probably because I just got an upgraded laptop. :D Now I may even be able to try that Empire game, my old laptop wouldn't have handled it.

John, what was that other game I've gotta try? Galactic something?

The final patch for OOTP X has now entered testing. There should be an official release in the not-to-distant future. This works out just perfectly for us. I really wanted to wait until the last patch was out because, amongst other things, a number of OOTP 9 --> OOTP X conversion issues are being addressed. Since conversion is a one-time event, your need to be using the latest version to get the benefits. Fortunately, that's going to be the case for us. I'm going to be spending some time tonight looking over a few specific issues, but I'm really confident that this version is going to be solid and a significant upgrade for an already great game.

Great! All of my other leagues have been converted and PEBA is the only thing still running in 9. It's kind of a pain to have to shut down X and start up 9 just to change leagues to PEBA (running both machines at once brings my machine to a crawl).
