2038 Qualifying Offer Decision Results

#1 Post by Warriors »

Several PEBA veterans have decided to decline qualifying offers and test the free agent market. The list of players hoping to secure more lucrative contracts includes:
  • Duluth Warriors: SS Henry Davis rejected the qualifying offer
  • Kentucky Thoroughbreds: SP Rory Soutar rejected the qualifying offer
  • New Orleans Trendsetters: LF Kazunari Ito rejected the qualifying offer
  • Niihama-shi Ghosts: LF Pedro Flores rejected the qualifying offer
Only one player decided that the offer was acceptable.
  • Yuma Arroyos: RF Vincent Powell accepted a 1-year qualifying offer worth a total of $15,100,000.
Good luck to the players seeking opportunity and fortune with different teams. Good luck to GMs negotiating contracts.

That Powell ain't no dummy. He knows Yuma is still the place to be--where losing comes easy and the water is free!
