Trade between Manchester and Aurora

#1 Post by Borealis »

The following trade has been consummated between the Maulers and Borealis:

AUR receives:
3B Pedro Macias

MAN receives:
3B David Simmons
RP Arthur Massingham (A)
3B Juan Hurtado (IC)
AUR 2nd round 2039 pick
AUR 4th round 2039 pick

Thanks Jeff for the smooth talks!

David Simmons never really met expectations - mostly because Northern Lights Park has killed him (check those splits) - so hopefully Whiten Field will be kinder, and Macias upper-cut will be a better fit for the short right field line. The classic debate - more O better than less D??

MAN confirms. Thanks to Mike for the good talks. It's a bit of a challenge trade: has Macias truly leveled up or is he just having a prolonged hot streak? Conversely, is Simmons too lazy to reach his former potential? Or does the short porch in Whiten Field free him up a bit?

Macias can be found on DFA. Please place Simmons in the open MAN 3b spot against RH & LH.
