Amsterdam Series Preview.

Amsterdam Lions

3 Game Series.

Despite coming of a 2-1 series defeat to the San Juan Coqui the Calzones will come in with confidence against an Amsterdam team they bettered in ST, the Calzones should also be buoyed by the 7-1 win in there last outing.

Vicente 'Cheese' Díaz (San Antonio)

Díaz as a chip on his shoulder and a point to prove, 4th in the rotation he as spoken to close friends and believes he should be higher in the rotation.

Bang-xao Niu (Amsterdam)

Niu as shown over his 3 seasons that he could be one of the top pitchers within the PEBA, despite putting up a better era last season his wins nearly halted better run support could lead to 20 wins.

Anthony Lee (San Antonio)

After starting in ST and outings that pointed to a rotation spot for some reason he found himself in the bullpen, come the season and he finds himself back in favour and a spot in the rotation.

Manuel Canales (Amsterdam)

Candles comes into his second season within the PEBA for Amsterdam, a solid if not spectacular rookie season showed signs he could be in the rotation for years to come.

Juan Garanzuay (San Antonio)

Garanzuay showed signs that he's capable of being a #1 in the rotation, he was on a short leash against San Juan and only time will tell if the same applies against Amsterdam.

Enrique 'Old Nick' Vázquez (Amsterdam)

Having pitched 7.1 innings with 3 runs given up on 9 hits in a 4-3 win over the Florida Farstriders in his first game of the season, Vázquez will be hopeful of a better display and another Lions win.
