• 10-13 in April, 11-8 in May (hopefully we can have a positive record this month!)
• SP D.Littleworth is still the only player injured in our team!
• last week we had the only three games in this season were we scored 10 (or more) runs:
• 05/16: SA 10, MAN 3: RP A.Lee (W), LF D.Burton, 3-5, 2 R, 5 RBI(!!!), 2 HR
• 05/20: SA 13, ARL 3 – SP V.Diaz (W) 6.0 IP, 7K, 0 BB, 2 ER. RF L.Aguilera 2-3, 4 RBI, 1 BB, 1HR
• In my opinion, the games we’re playing this season are really fun to watch for all our Fans! Even when we lose, every game is entertaining and fun to watch.
• We are the team with more HRs this season and more bases on balls (in the Imperial League)
• SP V.Diaz, in his second season in the starting rotation, is putting solid numbers after 8 starts: 3.14 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and a solid 7.8 K/9
• SP M.Torres is one of the leader of this team and with a solid 2.22 ERA and 151 ERA+ is also a mentor for our younger pitchers
• CL P.Torres is been the ideal Closer for our team with just 1.00 ERA and 0.97 WHIP
• Last week MVP is LF D.Burton with an incredible .364/.423/.818, 1.241 OPS, 3HR, 1 D, 9RBI, 3 BB!
• CF P. Monnington and 3B L.Cedeno also had a very prolific week
• SS C.Long has a 6 game hitting-streak! Mr. Long is an old veteran with 18 years of major league service (wow!!!!). when we acquired him during free agency we were hoping for an experience backup veteran with solid skills and decent batting abilities. I can’t be happier for the results that he’s having! He’s putting solid numbers (.250/.318/.417) so far and his 2M contract is worth every penny!
• Luis Cedeno and Peter Monnington are the two players with the highest WAR (both 1.9) in the team!
• 3B Luis Cedeno’ stats so far: 242/.318/.458, .775 OPS, 9 HR 19 RBI, 18 BB, 4 D in 153 AB
• CF Peter Monnington’ stats so far: .231/.262/.517, .779 OPS, 12 HR, 28 RBI, 5 D in 143 AB
• Florida has the best record in the IL; West Virginia is still West Virginia (even if they had a slow start in the first week of the season) and Havana is about to have another hell of a run this season..
• This week: 3 vs West Virgrinia (first time we meet with WV), 3 vs. Manchester
