New Okinawa GM
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to reach out and introduce myself as the new Okinawa GM.
First of all, thanks to Mike for the opportunity to join PEBA and looking forward to meeting everyone. Also thanks to Greg for the recommendation to join and keeping me updated while I was on the waiting list.
My name is Matt Reid and I have been based in Shanghai for the last 10 years. I understand we have a few members located in Asia so thats great that I wont be the only awkward timezone person. =)
I'm super excited to take over Okinawa as I'v been there a few times over the years as one of my Japanese teams (at the day job) is located there so I have been introduced to Shisa and the significance.
I have played in a few sim leagues over the years but not within OOTP.. other than as a breif stint as a F2P player in perfect league but thats a different beast entirely, so I'm sure there will be a lot of learning as I go but ready for the challenge.
Originally from Ottawa Canada but for the record baseball > hockey so I cant wait to get started in PEBA which is clearly even looking from the outside is one of the premier leagues with realism, history and participation.
Cheers,
Matt

Welcome Matt.
Guys I know Matt from a basketball sim league we are in together. It is the same league EX-PEBA'r Jason Warnke is in.
All I can say is if you have a guy with the last name Lynwood, you might want to send him to OKI hahaha
