Narrative:

The opening month was filled with ill omens: an ugly opening day loss (8-3) to Charleston; an offense that couldn’t produce; pitchers who couldn’t pitch.

And perhaps most telling of all: not one single winning week. The best the Claymores could manage in April was a 3-3 mark in Week 2.

The nadir, of course, came on April 27: a 9-5 loss at Hartford that would mark the beginning of a 21-game losing streak that buried the Scottish in a hole so deep that all hope for 2031 was lost before it had barely even started.
