That said, Tempe improved by 20 games, an incredible feat in and of itself!

well -- as if anyone cares -- but we got 3 of the 4 final teams right, and incredibly may have made the right call on the IL. Hopefully, we were way off when it comes to the SL!

It will be very interesting to see how much different OOTP 9 migration impacts league standings. I think the teams with young guys will have a surprising result.

Hey, I have a lot of young guys! Is it necessary that they also be good? Because, if so, I'm out of luck.

Don't expect a top prospect to play at potential out of the gate. It takes a little longer in ootp 9 from my experience. If it was a month in ootp 2007 to develop, it might be 2-3 months in ootp 9. You just need to watch it a little better. If you have a team of all young guys, you will struggle in April and May, but might be one of the hottest teams in August, if left un-touched. If I were you, leave 3-5 open spots on the 40 this year to play 25 versus AAA players.

I'm sure this timeline will be different for our league, though, since we'll be using RonCo's development settings.

Correct. Actually it's a modified version of his settings, but yes, it will be a different development pattern than what you're currently seeing.
