The Future of the Bureaucrats

#1 Post by Bureaucrats »

So, this season hasn't been the best to start. 21-37 and 3rd in the division while being 14 Games back isn't the most optimal position for us to be in. Those we expected to perform haven't and our farm isn't all that great. In fact, we're the 26th rated farm in the league. We're 10th in Starter ERA, 10th in Bullpen ERA, 14th in Batting Average, 12th in On-Base Percentage, and 9th in Home Runs. We're deeply overbudget, which makes everything worse.

We are terrible this year.

So where do we go from here?

A rebuild is in order. And in order to rebuild, one must tank. Fret not, however as we have a few bright spots ahead. Torcall Penrose is sporting a respectable 2.57 ERA in AAA at the moment, and we just finished a draft. While no one is immediately standing out, we do hope to see them develop in the coming years. Godspeed, Arlington, and may the coming years be forgiving.

Good luck, 'Crats! There's plenty of company in the rebuild department!
