Three Damn Vails ramble on, at length, about the 2029 season, Steve Hott, Jeff Grier, Free Agency, and more. Thanks for being a good sport, Bob!
Having to edit an hour and half of yourself taking is a really great way to make you aware of your verbal crutches.

I feel like, umm... it could have been maybe worse, so yeah.

Finally got to listen to this. I'm pretty sure I heard 5 different Vails, though. Please rename the podcast to accurately reflect the number of Vails or I will not be listening again. Or at least clarify which of them are damnable and which aren't. Or maybe the baby and dog aren't yours?
Liked the look around the league by division. I think the biggest disappointment this year was Arlington. They made a push, but it didn't work out hardly at all. The Rising Sun was ridiculous with 4 90 win teams, but the Trans Atlantic had London in last place with 73 wins. That's a 5th place team with more wins than the 4th place teams in all the other divisions, plus half of the 3rd place teams.
Free agency discussion at the end was fun. I feel like there's always a surprise team that jumps up and grabs someone. There seem to be at least a few teams with lots of money getting freed up, so I would expect some of them to dole out some big contracts. There are sure to be a few international FA's that garner some interesting offers as well. I'll be watching Canton in this space.
I also heard Three Dan Vails when Kevin first said it. Maybe next time, it can just be Dan impersonating random family members.
Many thanks for doing this.

Frank, the dog is adopted and mononymous, like Cher or Madonna, so he doesn't count toward Vail calculus. The boy, while we have high hopes for him, counts for only about 30% of a Vail at the moment and so we round down, arriving at three. All Vails, in this context, are quite damnable. We've been accused of being the "illuminati without the secrecy", after all. As far as me impersonating family members, we're mildly concerned that everyone will think that Ryan is made up once we have him on because he sounds IDENTICAL to me. When I hear my own voice on recording, I think I'm hearing him. It's eerie.
Many thanks for the feedback and thanks for listening. We'd probably do it even if no one listened, but it's infinitely more gratifying to know people care to listen. I think we need to change the name to "Three Damnable Vails". You've convinced me.
Anyone have ideas for future points of discussion? We're all ears.
