The Warriors confirm. We'll miss your homers, Jeff. I hope you find what you're looking for over there...

Re: Trade between SS and Duluth
Thanks again for the easy talks, Drew.
The salary hit will hurt, but I think I need the offense with the off seasons from both DH Luna and 3B Webb.
I'll deal with the financial aftermath later. Can't count pennies when we have a good shot at a deep playoff run.
Please set Pratt as my LF vs. RHP hitting 6th. There should be an open spot for him in my latest export after DFA'ing Howe.

Re: Trade between SS and Duluth
Sadly, John Howe isn't even close to my worst 1st round draft pick ever. That 2017 draft didn't have much top end offensive talent. Paul Carlisle went at the end of the 2nd round. I did pick up Clark Snow in the 11th round, and he's been quite good. Pablo Garza and Harley Schneider were both drafted AFTER him.
This trade is classic Evas to me. Getting a very good player for a reasonable price. The finances, I'm sure, will work themselves out. They seem to do that for perennial winners. Duluth can be happy with the financial flexibility. I like it for both teams.
