Week of July 17th-23rd, 2028

We're Above .500!!!

In a season as tumultuous as this, some normalcy at 46-46 was calming. But in two 3 game series' with the London Underground, our boys have prevailed to a 51-47 record! We reached out to GM Justin Barker for comments. "I am very happy with how this season is progressing so far. When I made my first trade, it was a knee-jerk panic response just to keep the season declining smoothly and not crash immediately as I predicted. That large 3/15 package trade was just meant to begin the rebuild after this season, but they have played beyond my expectations. If we continue like this, I can guarantee you and the city of Arlington that we will see the Bureaucrats play in October."

  • Dave Yarbough, Marvin Hansen, and Chae-ku Yi were the leaders this past week, hitting a combined average of .382.
  • Chae-ku Yi(6) and Sean Peters(9) combined for 15 of the team's 27 RBIs.
  • Even though he hit a paltry .227/.292/.364/.655, Rob Davidson stole 4 bases, not getting caught a single time.
  • 2B Bill Gibbs return from the DL shows promise, as he went 3 for 4 in 2 games, including a 2B and a BB.

  • In 33 innings, Bureaucrat Starting Pitching allowed 13 runs, and 11 were earned runs.
  • Roberto Comacho continues his slow start as a Bureaucrat, having pitched 5 innings with an ERA of 7.20, a WHIP of 2.20, and an opposing average (OAVG) of .360
  • In 2 Starts, Juan Cervantes pitched 12 innings, only giving up 3 earned run on 12 hits, 1 of them a home run, 1 BB and 7 K. He had an ERA of 2.25, a WHIP of 1.08, and an OAVG of .273
  • Arlington's bullpen pitched 23 innings, allowing 8 earned runs. They also struck out 20, while walking 4. All this is good enough for an ERA of 3.55, a WHIP of 1.27, and an OAVG of .269
