I wish Thompson could hit a consistent patch because I think the talent is there. Unfortunately, he just hasn't been able to stay healthy so I can't rely on him anywhere in my pitching staff. He's been pretty good this season but reliability is going to be big for Toyama going forward.
Ohayashi could have been a very good reliever but his pitches just didn't reach their full potential and at 25, time is almost out. The being said, I have no problem with low stuff relievers and Ohayashi has decent movement and control to play a role in the pen. Suzuki fits my OBP>AVG preference and can flex a bit on the right side of the infield. He's not a star by any means but he could play a depth role moving forward. The 5th round pick just gives me another shot at a lucky pick in what looks like a draft with decent depth.
Thanks for the simple negotiations Kevin, now please stop steamrolling the division.

If you process pre-sim, just place Ohayashi in my pen with no role. Suzuki can remain on DFA for this sim.

Re: Trade between SS and Toyama
Thank you for the easy talks, Dylan.
Thompson is a guy I've been eying for a while. No glaring weaknesses and should fare well in my park as a lefty. I'm less concerned about injuries as he'll be used exclusively out of the pen in SS and shouldn't see an overly heavy workload thanks to a relatively deep pen. He should be a nice cost controlled arm for at least the next 3 seasons.
I still like Ohayashi as a relief prospect, but I can't afford to let him develop on my PEBA squad. I wish I had watched his options heading in the season. I got caught flat footed by his lack of them, which forced me to go find a home for him. I expect him to be a solid performer for Toyama after a season or so.
Suzuki is a guy I'm glad to see finally get a decent shot in PEBA. His combo of power and a solid glove give him value, even if he'll never hit much more than .240.
Please place Thompson in my pen as a Middle Reliever with normal usage.

Kevin, if you don't have a spot for Thompson, could you export with one available, otherwise he'll be on DFA... Thanks!Evas wrote:Please place Thompson in my pen as a Middle Reliever with normal usage.
