New San Antonio GM
Hi Everyone!
My name is Marco Cesare and I’m the new GM of the San Antonio Calzones of Laredo!
I’m from Italy. I’m 24 and I’m studying Jazz Music at my hometown Music Academy. I've been playing OOTP since version 18.
When you think about Italy, the first sport that will come to your mind is Soccer. and you’re Right! MLB (and baseball in general) is not an “appealing” sport in Italy, even though there is a league, the vast majority of people don’t even know exactly how this beautiful game works. The most watched American sport in Italy is, without doubt, Basket (NBA).
I fall in love with this sport thanks to videogames and with internet I can keep up with the mlb. OOTP is one of my favorite managing videogames and I think that playing online with “real” players will be a completely new experience! The community of PEBA looks active and realistic just like “a real one”! I can’t wait to trade, discuss, draft and experiencing a “season” with all of you guys!
Thanks for letting me join this league, I will try my best to repay your faith in me!

Re: New San Antonio GM
Welcome, Marco! I was in Italy this past summer touring a bit and visiting friends. I ran into the Fortitudo Baseball club at my stop over in Amsterdam. They had just been in Rotterdam for the European Champions Cup.
Good luck with the Calzones!
Good luck with the Calzones!

Re: New San Antonio GM
Ciao, Marco! Now that you've joined PEBA, you won't need to keep up with the archaic MLB anymore. That organization went broke and disbanded back in 2008, twenty long years ago. Welcome to the future!
