The Dinosaurs made progress in the "youth movement" as the season has gone in the tank. The big move this past week was the promotion of uber prospect CF Pat Watson, who came in as the no.1 prospect in PEBA entering this season. Clearing the way for Watson was a surprising trade of the long standing center-fielder for the Dinosaurs, Albert Reyes, who is now manning the outfield for Arlington in return for two minor league pitching prospects, SP Warren Manning and SP Juan Canó.

Watson had dominated AAA with a 178 OPS+ and 25 HRs in 300 PAs while also stealing 16 bases and flashing great leather in center-field +11.5 Zone Rating. Watson inherits the starting CF role in Fargo from Reyes and if everything works out as planned he will be there for the next decade.
