NII sees little risk in trading high picks for solid, young Japanese arms. With this trade, Sato returns to the Ghosts, who drafted him in the second round of the '15 draft. He has only two pitches, so he may never work out as a starter, but could easily be a mainstay in the bullpen for years to come. Daikawa, in my view, still has developing to do, so may start out in AAA, not sure about that.
