Yup... It'll be a hit to the FI, but hopefully it'll not effect much over the offseason.

Mike's ratings have dropped - though his Control remains impeccable. Such a hard decision - despite the contract, it's his first injury of note, as he's started 30+ games for 9 straight seasons. Not even 'Fireworks' could say that (though he did have 12-30 game seasons and a couple of near misses in a much longer career...). But, there is a price to staying competitive - the financial cost, and the emotional cost of ditching players with long, successful histories with one team - to stay in the hunt...

I hear you Mike. Tough decisions. I'll be seeing how well Jim Klien can hold up against RHB the rest of the season. He's indicated an inclination to take a big time discount to stay with us. I'd rather have him as a bench coach and future manager.
