We confirm, Perez will get the second half of the season in Lincoln and spring training to show he could be a starting SS in Hartford next year. A gamble but it could save millions if it comes off

His minor league stats look better than his ratings, and those defensive ratings are really nice at three infield positions. Worth a shot, for sure!

I liked Perez , but have no where to play him in majors so thought. A 4th would help in long run. Especially since I lost 5 guys last year in Rule 5.

Definitely. Might as well see if you can get something useful for him, but he does look like a pretty nice player. Good deal for both clubs.

yeah, I warmed to his defence. I figured he's probably got a good shot of at least being Hartford's utility bench man even if he can't hit PEBA pitchers

He gives you elite (or close to it) defense at three tough infield spots. I would warm to that, too!

Yeah... He doesn't look all that bad - definitely an excellent bench player - If only he played first...
