Interesting deal - Bears taking on that lengthy Hawkins deal... is it me, or does nobody deal IC guys more than the Eva's?

IC guys are a great options for a lot of deals - often they have nice talent, but are high risk and further away from PEBA than most prospects.

For me, they are so far away from PEBA that I have a much easier time letting them go.

Everyone finds it very interesting & fascinating.... that must mean I didn't make a very good deal

In any case, we're excited about the prospects we're getting back and filling out our empty pen. Didn't want to take Hawkins back, but we'll see if he has some magic left in the tank.

Since I didn't say it in the first post... Bears agree.

Bobby is loading up on prospects. He's going to have a stacked system soon!

I really like Hawkins, but I can't afford to be patient with him in the stacked SL.

If Murray stays healthy, he should mash in SS. His glove is an upgrade too, so that helps.

I was a little hesitant to give up Nakagawa. I think he's poised for a big season.

It's not any specific evaluation, but more the risk-reward that both teams take on with Murray and Hawkins... both have struggled with injuries, Hawkins seems to have been a bit better, statistically... I'd call it a 'change of scenery' deal - which I think Kevin kind of intimated... key for SS: if Murray flails, it's only a one year deal... Hawkins' deal is lengthy but not overly burdensome for the Bears budget -and even better if he continues to excel...

Like I said, interesting...

This is the plan. Only way I'm going to overtake the Aurora juggernaut. We made the playoffs this year and held a lead for half the season over them but weren't realistically close to a contender. We were kinda like whoever wins the AFC South this year :)

Not processed. Maximum number of players allowed on one side of a trade is 5.

Don't we usually allow 1 per 5? So it can be broken into 2 deals for OOTP to process.

No more than five players may be included by a team in a single trade.
I don't see any wiggle room there. The five player limit is baked into the the game and I don't see a way to change it. Could teams come to an agreement and break such a trade out into two parts? Certainly.
