Trade between Aurora and Duluth

#1 Post by Borealis »

The following trade has been agreed upon by the Borealis and Warriors:

Duluth receives:
2B Harley Schneider
SP Eric Perkins

and

Aurora receives:
CF Tomás Flores
Duluth's 4th round 2026 draft pick

Thanks for the interesting, meandering trade talks, Mark! Perhaps we can continue the 'main feature' of that deal another time!! Good luck with both those guys!!

The motivating factor here for Aurora was picking up a replacement for Mike Hale, who is now, officially off to free agency. We'll presume at this time that Flores will plop into the #2/#9 slot that Hale was in, to maintain the speedy-hitting trio of Pope-Ferringo-Flores...

Perkins and Schneider have been moved to DFA...

I Confirm

This was tough as I know Flores has an amazing contract for his sill level, But I needed to move a few guys around to add to my team needs, With other guys leaving due to contract restraints it might give me enough to find a decent replacement.

Not processed.

SP Eric Perkins is a free agent.

If I had processed this trade, Duluth would not have had an opportunity to negotiate an extension.

Curious. I'll investigate this further tomorrow.

Is it possible he was a super 2?
