We accept, another move I hate making but couldn’t risk losing Carpenter and walking away empty handed.

A team committed to a rebuild trades away their top prospects for carpenter -- a guy who is admittedly very good but is on his last year of roster eligibility before hitting free agency... very interesting!

Shisa's farm got significantly better at the deadline, that much is for sure.

Whoa. That's a big swing by CL.

I love the reload but not totally rebuild approach. CL could be back with a vengeance in 2029, or even 2028 with a late surge. They are only 4 games out of the Wildcard at this point.

On a side note, we really need to get the traded draft pick list update. There has been a lot of pick movement.

Thanks guys. With the potential FA market being lsck luster this offseason, I decided to make this move with 2029 in mind. Not counting on making the playoffs this season if only by chance.
