I must be getting old but I concur with Denny. I am voting for America (Asheville). If not Asheville, I would vote for John's hometown.

Edit: I didn't see the page 2 posts until after I posted. I agree with others about John's hometown as well (whether it be the fictional or non-fictional version of John).

I think we can now declare a winner with 20 votes out of the first 24 cast being for America !

The PEBA / LRS Hall of Fame will be in America

Watch out for votes on location

This is a huge PR mistake. The PLANETARY EXTREME Baseball League locates it's HOF in small town America. How old fashioned. How ethnocentric. How unPLANETARY.

THe rest of the world is nonplussed.

It seems like the appropriate choice from over here in Japan.

Aren't any of the Japanese interested in locating the Hall nearer to Japan? Perhaps on one of the brand new islands formed off the coast, like Nishinoshima?

What better place for the Planetary Extreme's Hall of Fame than an island less than a year old?

I voted America, simply because that's where the PEBA started, not Japan.

Found this thread, and decided to use a somewhat-scientific answer to this.

Image

If you factor in all 32 PEBA clubs, and find it's geographic center based on latitude/longitude, you end up half-way between La Junta and Trinidad, in south-eastern Colorado

Okay, that's cool. 8) I love factoids like this. Great research work, Reg.

Wouldn't it be great to find out that location was a ranch owned by John Rodriguez Sr. during PEBA's early days?
