New Amsterdam GM

#1 Post by Malts »

Hello everyone,

My name is Ryan. I am Kevin and Dan's younger brother. I am new to the game and the platforms that come along with it. However, I am excited to learn and have some fun with it. A bit about myself... I manage a restaurant, have spent over 8 years in the Army and been rocking the bald look for most of my adult life now.

I am an open book, so if you guys need anything just ask.

Looking forward to running the Lions.

Cheers!
Ryan Vail

Welcome Ryan!

What sort of restaurant do you manage? I've always thought that would be a crazy job.

Also, what did you do in the Army? I'm a certified desk jockey with 8th Army HQ.

Welcome, Ryan! I assume that at some point soon we will have a Vail in every division.

Best of luck with Amsterdam!

Our candidate stocks are starting to run low.

Next up is probably, Tommy - but probably not until at least the 2050 season. He's a quick study, but at 9 months old his GM'ing ability is "more of a projection at this point".

Welcome aboard, Ry!

Welcome, Ryan. If your Lions squad needs a reliable water source for the remainder of the season, just contact Yuma Water. We'll be happy to make a deal!

Projects as a high volume trader. Prefers rookies. Also projects vomit.

Welcome Ryan! Amsterdam is a solid team to start out with a low payroll and some solid prospects/players throughout the organization.

I manage a Texas Roadhouse by day, and then do my weekend warrior training as an 11A Infantry Officer every now and then too.

Awesome! There's actually a roadhouse here in Camp Humphreys.

I was once an 11-series in an ancient era. I switched over to logistics when I commissioned.
