No, I didn't update in v19 before converting to v20. But it did take me 2 or 3 tries in v20 before the game actually loaded. So maybe the program inadvertently stuck that file into my PEBA folder during one of the failed attempts to load the game.Borealis wrote:
I have a question Bob - did you up date last night's file in v19, BEFORE you converted to v20? That would explain why you had that file when there's no reason for your having it in the opening file...

Re: Migration to OOTP 20
In the Forum Header are links for the Custom Artwork (only). Hopefully those links will work for you. What seems to work for me (most of the time) is the following:
- download and unzip.
- quit the game.
- add the downloaded files (that you want) into the existing folders within PEBA.lg (ball cap, jersey, team logo), overwriting the existing ones. Do not swap out the entire Jersey, Ballcap or Team Logo folders - then you will have the game having to rewrite the non-custom files.
- restart the game.
It's not an exact science...

Mines not working. Is the league file on the home page the new v20 file?

Ron, I had to update OOTP 20 to the current patch, import, and then download the latest FTP. Doing it in that order worked for me.

Yes, despite the past two versions were version number seemed unimportant, it seems to be this time - though sample size is small...Warriors wrote:Ron, I had to update OOTP 20 to the current patch, import, and then download the latest FTP. Doing it in that order worked for me.

Re: Migration to OOTP 20
I'm at 20.4 Build 40 and its saying I'm up-to-date. Downloading never progresses past 0, like Evan. My in game date is 4/3/2028 which is wrong and related to the problem I'm sure. I pointed to the World.dat file located in Saved_games > PEBA.lg folder of OOTP19 when importing. I've deleted and reinstalled/reimported and deleted the file mentioned earlier in this thread.

Re: Migration to OOTP 20
Hey Ron, Did you update the league file in 19 before importing (Don't do it now, it will corrupt the file)? The world.dat file should have pulled the file through from our last sim date. Considering you are stuck in April, there may be something wrong with that file.Akira wrote:I'm at 20.4 Build 40 and its saying I'm up-to-date. Downloading never progresses past 0, like Evan. You said the download is stuck at 0, how long does it stay like that and does it give you an error or anything?

Re: Migration to OOTP 20
I didn't update 19. It stays stuck at 0 for 10 min +, should I wait longer? The in-game date is way off so not sure what's happened. Wouldn't installing a new v20 league file bypass any issue?

Hey Ron, did you try a fresh install of the game? Maybe that’ll help?
