Playoff Roster

#1 Post by Alleghenies »

The option for playoff Roster is gone. We need it because the rules for playoff roster and Active roster are different.

Correct. I just posted this elsewhere too. That way you do not have to also waive players that were September call-ups. We need to add play off rules and advance one day I think to fix it.

Doesn't a player need to be on the active roster on Aug 31st to be eligible? Or otherwise on the DL at the time?

So many people kept running afoul of that rule that it didn't seem worth it. Every year I had to manually add players because somebody forgot about the rule, so I just chucked it and saved us all some trouble.

That sucks, because with playoff rosters I don't have to have Dixon active and you can't send down guys that don't want to get sent down, but you could leave off playoff roster. I wish you guys would tell us when you are changing the rules. If I have to keep Dixon on my playoff roster, that is a bunch of bullshit.
I don't want Rose on playoff roster, but can't take him off active roster without DFA.

This completely screws up my playoff roster.

If I have to play with a players on my playoff team to retain them you can add another team that will be open this off-season. I put too much work into each year for this.

3 guys I will have to lose if I want to put best playoff roster out there. Maybe even 4 as I have it down to 2 for 26.

Rose, Sai won't go down and Dixon was my rule 5 I kept all season, but no way should he be on playoff roster.

We can work around it. I can give them all food poisoning, which will allow you to shift them to the playoff DL. They would not be eligible until the next series (technically), but we can dodge that too if we have to.

Suffice it to say, these are not circumstances I had foreseen.

LOL. If they all get food poisoning, I might have to write an article. :-)

Add Meade to that list of Food poisoning. Dixon, Meade, Rose, Sai..

Thanks.

haha you guys are hilarious... Morris. I had to waive a bunch of guys too that normally would not need waivers... can we exempt waivers for playoff rosters?
